WoW Nov8th already??

I appologize for not posting anything in my blog for the last couple of weeks.  I have been very busy with my school and work.  After our dreamweaver projects, we started practicing with photoshop and indesign.  I found the photoshop week a little slow because I had worked with it in my high school graphics classes.  However, it never hurts to learn a little more which I did.  Our indesign practice was a little more interesting, we made brochures.  We didn't focus too much on the content of our brochures but more on the layout.  I thought this was great practice especially for mass comm majors because a lot of us go on to careers in advertisement.

Last Week, Short Week

After our full week of dreamweaver tutorial.  We started designing our own webpages.  We had to meet certain criteria for monday which I just recently completed.  I really like working with dreamweaver.  I have never made html files like this before so I don't have much to compare to, but Dw is a very easy software to pick up and start learning.

This Week Oct 4th-8th

This week we worked a lot on Dreamweaver.  We learned how to work with text, images, and hyperlinks on the software.  I really like Dreamweaver.  Although I have never used it, Dw is very easy to pick up and get used to.

Friday

Friday in class we worked on Dreamweaver.  I have never used it before so it was pretty difficult at first.  But I soon caught on a little bit and realized what a great tool this software is.  It really makes it easy to create an html file.  I didn't experiment with any other type but the html was very interesting.

Finally Friday

Today in class we learned about google docs.  I have already been using docs for some time so most of this was review for me.  I helped my group members figure it out and we even read each others written responses using google docs.  I think this could be a great tool for our class and might even work better than the wiki.

WEDNESDAY 9-22

Adobe Connect was the main topic today in class.  This is a great tool that can be used in many situations.  If you have a class to be taught, or many clients around the world you want to give a presentation to, you can use this.  Businesses, schools, or just friends helping friends could use this software. 

Also today there was some discussion about the dropbox deadlines and confusion involving them.  We got that figured out and hopefully there are no more problems with the dropbox.

Monday Monday Monday

Well Monday in class we took a little time to catch up with things that people werent understanding in class.  My group discussed our final project and got some much needed information to each other.  We then took a look at Microsoft Outlook.  We learned how to use the appointment request feature.  This feature is something I never knew existed until class.
